The Pushkin Summer Institute is a four-week program in Russian language, literature, and culture at the University of Wisconsin-Madison operating virtually in the summer of 2021 (June 21-July 16). We offer a unique near-immersion Russian language learning experience in combination with an advanced literature and writing curriculum, an integrated culture program, and college preparation. Participation

  • virtual program dates: 6/21-7/16 (4 weeks)
  • learn in small groups with 3 different Russian instructors M-F, 10-2 (with breaks)
  • participate in interactive lectures with Professor Bethea, an internationally respected specialist on Aleksandr Pushkin and his era
  • engage in cultural workshops, campus tours, and college info sessions
  • celebrate your success in the virtual closing ceremony on 7/16
